Host Family, Homestay

Live with a Chinese family and learn about Chinese culture while using the Mandarin you have learned in school in everyday, real-life, situations. Daily contact with your host family will enable you to learn Mandarin in China in an opportune environment. Host families live close to the university campus in nearby suburbs. Host families are interviewed and selected based on the cleanliness of the home, the nature of meals (breakfast and dinner are provided), and friendliness toward international students and ability to assist in a students quest to study Chinese in China. Student Residence (studio/room)

Student Residences are located near the school with the choice of double or single occupancy.

Residence Room (Single/Double)
Residence rooms have one room and private bathroom. They are furnished with a bed, television, phone, and heating and air conditioning. Apply

Residence Studios
Residence studios have one bedroom with an attached living room and private bathroom. The studios are furnished with a bed, desk, cable television, phone, and heating and air conditioning. Apply

Apartment (shared/private)

Live in a spacious apartment with modern furniture and facilities. Apartments have between one to three bedrooms (you can choose to live with other foreign students studying Chinese in China or with Chinese nationals), living and dining room, private bathroom, and kitchen. The living room has a sofa, television, and DVD player. Each bedroom has a bed, desk, chair, and storage area for clothes and other personal belongings. Hotel

Three-star hotels situated next to the university create the most relaxing study-vacation environment in China. Hotel rooms have modern furniture, bed, refrigerator, private bathrooms, satellite television, air-conditioning, internet connectivity, and telephone. Hotels facilities include daily housekeeping, laundry, gym, pool, and restaurants. Apply
